About us

It is also important to know that the County seeks to encourage local small business growth. Our Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) program demonstrates our belief that small business is the backbone of America. The DeKalb First LSBE Ordinance, enacted by our Board of Commissioners in 2016, was created with the intention of providing earned revenue to local certified businesses through our competitive, earned process. That philosophy continues today.
